Photo of Datuk Siti Nurhaliza

This is a photo of DATUK SITI NURHALIZA....
In this picture she looks very beautiful, like a princess.
The way she smile can melt away a guys heart.
The look on her face is so sincere, like a new born baby.
No sin, no prejudice and no fear...
From her face, we can see that she is always happy with her life.
The photo might have been taken before she got married to Datuk K.
This is because she was not wearing her scarf at that time.
The funny thing about this picture is the women at the back of Datuk Siti Nurhaliza.
In this photo, Datuk Siti is not really looking at the camera. She is probably looking at another cameraman.

Journal Entry 6

"THE UNDESIRED HEART"

I, the undesired heart

Wanting to be heard

Wanting to be seen

Wanting to be loved

For many years I suffered

Each & every moment, tears never fade away

Heart-broken, despair and misery

Craving for attention

Daddy, never seems to realize the existence of me

Mummy, was never there when I needed her

Siblings seems to never bothered

Friends, no one cares

I longed to be kissed

I longed to be hugged

My thoughts & opinions was never agreed

Nor my needs or my desire

What only matters was themselves

But what about me?

I, the undesired heart

Sacrified my happiness to make them happy

Sacrified my ambition to make them proud

But nothing is worth it

Oh life....

How I wish a could change everything

How I wish I wasn't even born into this crucial world

Sorry heart, its our fate.

“The Fascinating Sight”

First time, second time or a hundred times
Never bored of the fascinating sight
Always aspiring and admiring
The eyes of the sight viewers

The sea was blue and the clouds were white
What a loser if you never tried once
The waves splashing the air cooling
Like a place with full of hearts

The ocean was astonishing
The sea creatures can be seen from above
They can’t hide nor cover themselves
That is why it is called the fascinating sight

“The Beauty”

Never seen such a beauty before
The sky was blue also the sea
The air was breezing but not freezing
Let me be there till I die

The fish, big ones and small ones
Swimming and splashing
Eager to leave such beauty
It’s their life and aspiration

The beauty was not made up
But a true story with proofs
Everyone should go there to see and feel
That the beauty exist not just a story

“A Piece of Me”

Everyone, come look at me
See me dance and shake like me
Once in a week, let’s get together
Hear the music and feel it heal

The old days were fine and enjoyable
You were behind me, dancing with old Jacky
But me, all alone, can’t you see

That night was a fascinating
But seeing you with old Jacky was heartbreaking
I dance like crazy just to make you realize
A piece of me...

Poetry

"THE UNDESIRABLE DANCER"

Poor old Blackie
Dancing alone
Shaking and twisting ala Tango
Do you still remember that sound?
Crack Cruck Crock
Only the wooden floors respond

Hello Blackie
Look around
Others with pairs
But you "upstairs"

Your shirt, pants, teeth..
All white..or maybe yellow your teeth
I don't remember
Because it was taken years ago

Oh Blackie
Can't you see
No one wants to dance with you..
Neither me
Because it was you
The undesirable dancer...

"THE PALACE OF KNOWLEDGE"

Books...Dictionaries....Encyclopedias...
All neatly arranged
In different colored bookshelf's
Old ones, new ones & even torn ones
All full of glories...

Each & every day
I will be sitting in the palace
Touching & feeling each and every books
With love and care
Flipping page by page with full attention
Knowing that one day I will gain information

The palace of knowledge
Forever generous and never stingy
Night and day
No matter when, the palace of knowledge
Will never fade
And always welcome those who are thirst for knowledge
A person like me

The palace of knowledge
Your my love and aspiration
Always in my heart
And I'm yours forever

RAMADAN RETURNS.....

Ramadan finally returns. This is the 21 time I am celebrating Ramadan. And soon Aidilfitri will arrive. That is the time everybody’s waiting for. This semester, fasting is quite exhausting. The weather is getting hotter and hotter day by day. And sometimes, heavy rain comes. And because of the rain, i have to cancel my plan going to the bazaar. The weather is unpredictable. The first day of fasting started quite fine because there was no class on that particular day. UiTM was on holiday. I break fast at home with my beloved family.Me and my mother cooked Nasi Ayam, eermmm....my favorite...

The second day of fasting was on Tuesday. I had class until 5pm. It was very exhausting because I started class early in the morning. At about 8am I was already at the faculty and finished class at 5pm. It was alreadt late at the evening. I know, if i go home at that particular time, it means that i will be breaking fast in the bus or at the bustop. I decided to break fast at the faculty with my friends, Irwan,Tajul and Niza. That day, I eat rice and ‘lauk campur’ and plus soy drink. That was enough for the day.

The third day, Wednesday, I break fast at home with my family. I helped my mum to cook Nasi Beriyani because my father wanted to eat nasi Beriyani since the first day of Ramadan.
I was very full that day, i didn't manage to do Terawikh. On Thursday
was the most challenging day of the week for the fasting month. I had
class from 8am until 9pm. i was very2 exhausted that day. In the evening, it started to rain. I had to go to the bazaar to buy food for break fast. I was soaking wet that day. I didn't really get to concentrate on what to buy. That day, i only had "Cakoi" for breaking fast. The most sad thing is that, i had to break fast in the classroom.

On the weekends, me and my family break fast at my auntie's house in Bkt. Jelutong. My grandparents and other relatives were also there to break fast. There were many types of food on the table. My mother cooked 'ayam percik', my grandmother cooked 'bubur lambok', my aunt Ty made spageti and mee curry, and my aunt Ra made Nasi Kerabu. We had a very wonderful time breaking fast together. Ramadan really unites our family. Its not easy to meet all our relatives, especially during weekdays. So, ramadan is the best time to get together.

My Favourite Fiction Character.....

Since I was small, I was exposed to fairy tales stories such as Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, Sleeping Beauty and many more. Every night, my mother or my father will read fairy tale stories before I go to sleep. My parents also bought me vcd on fairy tales stories. Besides just listening to the story, I also get to watch the movie on my favorite fictional characters. I love all those fictional character especially Cinderella. I love the part when fairy god mother turned Cinderella into a very beautiful girl, wearing a very gorgeous looking gown and not to forget the glass shoe. Sometimes I even wished to become like them but that is only a dream.

However, Cinderella was my childhood favorite fictional character. Now I am 21 years old. I start to love watching action movies and began to like watching superhero movies. Many superhero movie I have watched, for example, Superman, X-Men, Spiderman, Batman Begins, Fantastic Four and many more. The latest movie that I have watched was “The Dark Knight”. The movie was fantastic and unbelievable. To me, it was the movie of the decade. What makes me love the movie was the character of Joker. I must say, at this particular moment, my favorite fictional character is The Joker. Its not that I have become a betrayal because no longer admiring Batman from that movie but to me, The Joker’s character is more happening and very incredible. Although he is the antagonist in the movie, but in my opinion, it’s not wrong to admire such character. For those who have not yet watched “The Dark Knight”, please get the DVD as soon as possible. If not, you are considered a loser for losing your once in a lifetime opportunity..

MR. BLOBBY

Invent a character who owns these things. Write up to 250 words the character, incorporating some of the objects into your description.

-Leather Jacket
-Business Card
-Dusty Radio
-Silver Locket with Inscription
-Bottle of Herbal Medicine
-Rugby Ball
-Fortune Telling Cards
-Jar of sharpened Pencils
-Brand New Laptop

One day, Mr. Blobby went for a walk at the park. It was winter at that time and Mr. Blobby was freezing to death. Then, suddenly Mr. Blobby found a leather jacket full of holes and dirt. He put on the leather jacket and went home. As he was walking home, his hands mingled around the pockets of the leather jacket. Suddenly, he found a business card with no name on and no address on it but only written “Business Card” on it. When he reached home, he put the business card on a dusty radio and all of a sudden, the dusty radio turned into a silver locket with an inscription on it. Mr. Blobby was very surprised and at the same time, shocked. Out of the blue, Mr. Blobby’s heart was beating fast. It was heart attack. Mr. Blobby went to the kitchen to take a bottle of herbal medicine. In just a few seconds, Mr. Blobby turned into a rugby ball. He was very frightened and don’t know what to do.

He then remembered that his neighbor was a fortune teller and maybe might get to help him to turn back into a human being. So, as a rugby ball with no legs, Mr. Blobby rolled himself to the fortune teller’s house. As soon as he reached the door, Mr. Blobby greets the neighbor, “Assalamualaikum….” And Alhamdullillah the neighbor was home. Mr. Blobby explained everything to the fortune teller and then the fortune teller took out the fortune-telling cards. The fortune teller told Mr. Blobby that based on the fortune telling cards, there is only one way to change him back to human and that is, the fortune teller must stab Mr. Blobby with a jar full of sharpened pencils. Mr. Blobby knows that it might hurt but he is willing to do anything to change himself back to human. The fortune teller then took a jar of sharpened pencils and stab Mr. Blobby. Unfortunately, turned into a brand new laptop, complete with Vista operating system, webcam, speaker and a mouse. The fortune teller was shocked to see what had happened to Mr. Blobby. But greed overtakes the fortune teller. He suddenly decided to keep the laptop to himself. Poor Mr. Blobby. The end....

MY EARLY YEARS OF READING

-My Early Reading History-

R.E.A.D.I.N.G

R-Reading is one of my hobbies
E-Enid Blyton is my favorite author
A-Always read while listening to the radio
D-Don’t like reading when forced to
I-Interested in reading ghost stories, fiction & interesting jouney
N-Novels are read during my free time ONLY!
G-Got to LOVE reading to increase my vocabulary & improve my language.

I started reading during kindergarten;
the book that I read was mostly about ABC, 123 and so on.
At first I didn’t really enjoy reading because I thought it was just a waste of time but the main reason is because the book or the reading material is very hard to understand & due to that reason, it makes the reading material very boring, dry, dull and uninteresting.
But as time pass by, I started reading books that consist of more words and harder vocab.
At the age of 8, I start reading thick novels and books.
The first book that I manage to finish was a book written by Enid Blyton.
The book was “THE SECRET ISLAND”.
The story was about a bunch young kids who discovered a secret island.
Many things happened at the island.
They even built a hut and lived in the island.
Their journey was an amazing one.
You should get a copy.
Even until now, I still remember what the story, their journey was like.
It was a very interesting book.
The words was very simple to understand and straightforward. That was one of the reasons why I manage to finish off the book.
Besides that, the storyline was attention-grabbing. The author, Enid Blyton managed to attract the readers even at the young age to read.
I learned many new things through the reading.
One of the things that I learned through the reading is how to survive when you’re a lost in some unknown place especially in an island.
Why this book is very important to me, is, because of this book,
I started to read more & more for the reason that I realize that READING is FUN!!!

That was about the first book…
After finding that reading is very enjoyable, I start buying books on GHOST STORIES, FICTION & FAIRYTALE…
As a girl, it is normal reading fairytales such as Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin & many more.
My parents usually guide me when reading especially while reading second language reading materials.
What I don’t understand will be explained and my parents will make things clear for me in order to help me comprehend better.
Apart from fairytales, ‘ghost stories’ is also one of my favorite.
GOOSEBUMPS written by R.L STINE……
Ever heard of that???
When I was studying in Edinburgh, my school holds a book festival every year.
And every time when there was a book festival, I will buy a collection of books written by R.L Stine which is GOOSEBUMPS.
Why I love GOOSEBUMPS is because I love ghost stories.
The way it is written is easy to comprehend, exciting ghost stories, & different from other books on ghost stories that I have read.
Why these books are important to me????
When reading GOOSEBUMPS, I became more imaginative and creative.
In my opinion, R.L Stine is a very creative writer. Not everyone can imagine things that are beyond the human nature, especially things that we ourselves have not even seen that is GHOST…..
Isn’t that right???

AND As a Muslim, I was also exposed to books on Prophets, religious books & Al-Quran.
Usually after maghrib prayer, my father will ask me & my siblings to read a book called “Kisah-kisah Nabi”, “Kisah-Kisah Teladan” and many more.
After reading, my father will question us about the book to test our understanding of the books.
By doing so, it forces me to really concentrate on the reading and automatically I manage to memorize especially stories about out Prophets.
Besides that, after the reading, I realize that there are many good messages that can be learned and applied in our living.
Such book focuses on the moral of the story.
I learned on how to become a good Muslims from these types of reading material.

High Fidelity

"High Fidelity"

Question 1

What is the movie about?

The movie is mainly about a guy that never succeed in love but eventually realize that he needs to settle down and start thinking about having a family and live a normal life like others. His interest was music. He owns a record store. And because he was too obsess with music, he can't manage his own life and didn't realize that his girlfriends got bored of him.

He is quite good looking but always end up breaking up with his girlfriends. Throughout the movie, he tells about all his top five ex girlfrinds, but the fifth seems to be the one he loves most. He broke up up with Laura(his fifth girlfriend) but finally realize that he cannot live without her. In the end, he finally realize that he should know better about himself and try to make changes so that he would't end up with frustration.

Question 2

How is it different from the common fiction?

Usually, when we watch fiction movies, especially love stories, the story will end when the couple got married and lived happily ever after. But in this movie, it doesnt really ends with marriage. In the movie, it only shows the guy proposed the girl but doesn't really show whether at the end they got married or not. Throughout the movie, we can see that the characters is not much different from what we see in the real world. It shows the reality of the real world rather than just a common fiction that sometimes are a bit too unbelievable.

Question 3

Whose your favorite character and why?

My favourite character from the movie "High Fidelity" is Dick. He seems to be the most nicest character in the movie. He works with Rob at the record store. What I like about this character is that he seems to be very polite and quite shy especially with girls. I really love guys like Dick because he respects other people, and very concerned about others especially his close friends, Rob and Barry. What I like most about him is that, throughout the movie, he looks very innocent and the expression on his face can make other people sympathize him.

Question 4

Provide an alternate ending.

The ending that most probably suits this movie will be that although Rob has already proposed Laura, but they won't get married. A guy like Rob will never change or he will end up marrying someone else. In my opinion, the suitable ending will be when suddenly Rob thinks that he can no longer live with Laura because he finally realize that Laura is not suitable for him. Laura is a lawyer and he is just a normal guy that owns a record store. After he meets the a girl, that he thinks suits his stlye and the way of living, he realize that the girl is meant for him. After a few years of dating,in the end, he finally got married and live a happy life with the girl that understand him and have the same interest that he does, that is music.

The Difficulties in Writing

Writing.......

In my opinion, writing is not easy...

To me, writing is quite challenging..

Especially when you don't really have the knowledge about you want to write.

Those who find writing as something that they enjoy to do

or writing for pleasure, they might not have problems in doing so.

It depends on the individual itself.

Usually when people write for pleasure,

they will end up with excellent piece of work...

BUT if they do so by force, the results will end up less interesting and boring.

Although I am not that good in writing, but I love to read.

Sometimes, through reading, I can get the idea of what to write....

WHAT ARE THE DIFFICULTIES I FIND WHEN WRITING???

1. Limited Vocabulary

2. To many grammatical errors (I think....)

3. Do not have enough background about what to write.

4. Limited experience about the topic.

5. Don't have enough time.

6. Unclear instruction of what to write. (usually happens during exams in school)

7. Not interested in the topic.

The New Semester

The new semester…..

??????? me, myself & i……
The new semester has begun…..
But to me, everything is not as before…
This semester, it will be me, myself & i…
You know why???
Because my closes friend is no longer with me…
We couldn’t manage to register the same class for this semester and it is quite disappointing…
I think this semester will be quite challenging because I’m all alone..
Each day won’t be the same without Wawa….huhuhu
But, nothing to worry about.
For this semester
I will try to become more independent….
I will study harder and try to increase my pointer….
I’m a ‘SURVIVOR’…yeaaah!!!

“CREATIVE WRITING”
If I’m not mistaken, I think I have taken this course during pre-tesl….
Hmmm….i don’t really remember..
But it’s not wrong to take this course for the second time anyway…
I must admit, I am not really good in writing
Especially in creative writing
So I hope this course will really help me improve in my writing…

“The first TSL620 class”
The class started a little early, at about 6pm.
From the timetable, the class should start at 6.10pm.
When I entered the class, the lecturer was already there.
I thought I was earliest one to class but the lecturer was earlier than me..
That was quite bad start.
I felt very guilty with myself because from my point of view, as a student, I should come earlier to class before the lecturer does…
Next time I will try to come earlier and not disappoint myself.
The class that day was rather crowded.
I don’t know why the number of student in that class was over limit..
It should have been 30 but from what I saw, there were about 40 students in the class.
But no doubt, maybe because the lecturer, Sir Jaferi was quite cute…hehe
No wonder the number students in that class was more than it should have been.
Perhaps it will be more challenging than.
Positive thinking!!
The most important thing is, I want to learn and improve my writing plus my English language and try to work with my new friends of course.
